INTRODUCTION

Greetings to the all the beautiful girls of Pakistan! Before I start writing for my blog, let me introduce myself to you. My name is Fatima and I'm a final year student at Dow Medical College who has a passion for writing. I won't mind being called Dr. Fatima already but I still have a little more than half a year to go. You must be thinking that being a final year student how in the world do I have all the time to start a blog, well, medical students also have hobbies.
Two years back I started working on freelancer.com as a health and skin writer where I would submit my articles to a foreign employer and earn dollars. Although its a great feeling to earn your own money, especially at a young age but I never really enjoyed writing due to the limited topics I got and also because I was writing for people not from my own country. If you go to Walmart, a store in America, you can get all the supplements, all the varieties of lactose free milk or gluten free wheat and all the brands of spring water, etc, necessary for a healthy skin. In comparison, when you go to Naheed you wont be able to find a single such product that you are looking for. This can become quite frustrating, especially when you want something from the US and yeah, you find it on amazon, but well you can't buy it because either its a bit too pricey or you realize Paypal doesn't work in Pakistan and that's the only way you can pay for it. Between, 80% of Asians have lactose intolerance so if you cant tolerate milk and every time you've had it you've ended up spending long hours in the bathroom, don't fret because you're not alone.
So here I am to tell you solutions to living a healthy life through product reviews, most of which will be available in Pakistan and even if I've purchased them from abroad, i'l let u know about a pure brand and the best way to order it to Pakistan. Also girls, a piece of advice, refrain from all skin lightening topical creams and soaps since although, they might temporarily make your skin look lighter, but you are making your skin more sensitive to the sunlight and in a place like Karachi, no matter what you do, you can't avoid the sunlight completely. Do you know being in the sun for just 15 minutes would trigger your skin cells to start producing melanin. For those who don't know, melanin is the pigment responsible for skin tanning. So, if you've already made your skin more sensitive, you'l end up getting even darker than your original tone.
But don't worry, you can opt for safer methods of skin lightening and i'l write a whole blog on that, but keep in mind that for a beautiful skin you need a healthy body. In other words, what you feed yourself would show out on your skin.
So join me on this journey and lets encourage each other to live a healthy life and adopt safer ways of taking care of our skin. Goodbye everyone!
